Finding the Best Unique Wedding Gifts

When it comes to purchasing wedding gifts, it is hard to resist the temptation to give in and go the traditional route, but that is really the boring, easy way out. Do you really want to give the couple just an ordinary gift, one that may even be a duplicate of something else they have already gotten? There are many different unique wedding gifts that you can give which will be both functional and fun for the wedding couple, and that are sure to stand out among all the others. You can try to find a unique gift that appeals to the couples humorous side, or something that is both useful and unique, it is up to you to decide. As long as both the prospective bride and groom can use and enjoy your gift, and you are happy giving it, what difference does it make whether it is traditional or not?

One popular gift idea that people are starting to get into as of late is purchasing land on the moon in the couple’s name, or naming a star for the couple. If those ideas are a little bit far fetched for your taste, then you might want to purchase a great bottle of wine or champagne, and have the label custom printed with the couple’s names, and the date of their upcoming nuptials. Along those same lines, if you are crafty, you could create a personalized photo frame for one of their wedding photos to be placed in, or some other handmade craft. A lot of people might frown on the idea of a handmade wedding gift, but the wedding couple will likely be impressed that you think enough of them to take the time and effort to create them a truly unique gift to commemorate their special day.

If you would prefer to give the wedding couple a unique gift that they can actually use, there are many different ways that you can go. If the groom wouldn’t protest the idea of spending the day at the spa, you could give them a certificate to have a day at the spa, on your tab. This is a great way for the couple to spend some relaxing time together, and recover from all the wedding planning stress. You could also pay for a weekend getaway at a nearby inn, where they could spend time with each other, away from all the well wishers and wedding planners. If you really think about the likes and dislikes of the couple, there are virtually unlimited things that you could turn into the perfect wedding gift.

Another unique wedding gift that you could give the couple is your time and assistance. Wedding planning can be a tiring, stressful time for everyone involved, and some extra hands can be especially useful. Volunteer to help with any wedding events or planning that need to be done, pick up flowers, help decorate the church, help with food for the reception, etc. This is a great gift that often gets overlooked, which most couples really do appreciate!
